We source and screen
We draft your opportunity and share it with Sceen's volunteer community on WhatsApp. Interested volunteers share a sample ID and answer a few questions about their background and past experience relevant to the activity.
Volunteers grouped
Screened, interested volunteers are added to a dedicated WhatsApp group for your event. Extra interest is kept on a waitlist.
Orientation call
A day before your event, we run an orientation call with your organization and the volunteer group, covering what to expect on the day and giving both sides a chance to ask questions before it starts.
Event day
Volunteers show up briefed and ready. If anyone doesn't make it, whether at the orientation call or on the day itself, we backfill their spot from the waitlist.
Feedback and certificates
The same link used to register volunteers doubles as a feedback form afterward, and e-certificates are generated and sent from the same website.

How much does this cost?
₹1,000 for up to 5 volunteers, then ₹200 for each additional volunteer sourced. The fee is collected upfront, before we start sourcing for your request.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We need a minimum of 3–4 days before your event to source and confirm volunteers, so reach out as early as you can.
Is there a minimum number of volunteers I need to request?
No. Request as few or as many volunteers as you need.
Who are the volunteers?
A mix of students, working professionals, homemakers, and retired professionals. About 60 to 70% are students and recent graduates, with the rest coming from a range of professional backgrounds and skill sets.
How are volunteers screened?
Every volunteer shares a sample ID card and answers a few questions about their background and past experience relevant to the specific activity before they're added to your event group.
Can I request volunteers with a specific skill?
Yes. Request volunteers for a specific skill like artwork, production, operations, or photography, or ask for general-purpose volunteers.
What happens if a volunteer doesn't show up?
If a volunteer doesn't show up, whether at the orientation call or on the event day itself, we backfill their spot from our pool of interested volunteers.
Can I get a refund if I need to cancel?
Once volunteers have been sourced for your request, the fee is non-refundable.
Is this available outside Bangalore?
The large majority of our volunteers are based in Bangalore, which is where we primarily operate. We're also open to sourcing volunteers from Kerala and Tamil Nadu depending on the activity.
Can I get on-ground coordination too?
Yes. On-Ground Volunteer Coordination is available as an add-on to this service if you'd like Sceen to manage volunteers on the day itself.
